Having previously developed a custom integration with Zipwhip, we saw the need to port the integration to a new API since Zipwhip was acquired by Twilio.
While Twilio makes a great product, we found that Plivo had some advantages:
- User-friendly interface
- Ability to create custom logic through flows
- Plivo offers a nice interface as opposed to Twilio which is only API based
- Flexibility to create custom inbound actions based on salesforce data
- More cost efficient
- Single-user sendng
- Stored credentials
